All about the Root Chakra.

This article is all about the Root Chakra, its functions, what happens if it is not balanced, and how to balance it.

What are Chakras? I have written an overview of chakras as part 1 of this series: WHAT ARE CHAKRAS

Where is the Root chakra located? The Root chakra is the first main chakra that is within our physical body. It is at the base of the spine, and in the pelvic floor.

What is the color of the Root chakra? The color of the Root chakra is Ruby Red.

What does the Root chakra do? The Root chakra is called the “Muladhara” chakra in Sanskrit. Its functions are:

1. Basic needs of Survival: eating, sleeping, shelter, etc.

2. Feelings of safety & security.

3. Financial stability.

4. Pulls positive grounding energy up from the core of the earth by acting as our root.

5. Confidence.

6. Feeling centered and balanced.

7. Passion about life and activities.

8. Sense of smell.

What are Chakras?

Chakras are energy centers inside and outside the body. The 7 main chakras that are inside the body are placed along the midline of the body. Our energy flows through our chakras and is regulated by them. We will be mainly talking about the 7 main chakras that are in the body. I will later also talk of two chakras that are outside the body – the Soul Star chakra, and the Earth Star chakra. These two are also called the Transpersonal Chakras.

When all the chakras are open, clean, healthy, unblocked, and balanced, we enjoy great mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. However, when any chakra is not balanced or blocked, we suffer from illness, usually in those parts of the body that are regulated by that particular chakra, and also other emotional and spiritual problems. Fortunately, there are easy ways to heal and balance your chakras. In fact, if you do a regular chakra clearing meditation, you will clear and balance all your chakras.

Angel Reading: What is 2021 like for you?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I pray 2021 will be much kinder on the world, and that it will continue the spate of wonderfulness for me that started in 2020. I have much to be grateful for this year.

Some of the things I am grateful to 2020 are:

1. Launching my dream - my online Academy!

2. 2020 made sure that hubby and kiddos stayed home, and I loved that very much! 

3. 2020 made sure I got the slower pace of life I had longed for.

4. My Conscious Manifestation skills went through the roof!

5. Hubby got a FABULOUS job at the time of the hiring freeze (yep, Conscious Manifestation!).

6. Daughter graduated from college with a medal.

7. Son graduated from Middle School super happy that he could learn from home. He had been stressed, and this helped him feel better.

And there is so much more that I manifested in 2020 that I am grateful for. Point is, even though 2020 was awful for many, if we look, we will find many blessings within this year.

Why should we learn to communicate with our Guardian Angels?

They are here to guide us and protect us. If we are able to communicate with them, we make our lives easier, happier, and we help them do their jobs better.
